On the afternoon of October 16,the first decision-making advisory committee convened its ninth meeting, which was also the last meeting of the current committee. The meeting was chaired by Zheng Huiqiang, director of the decision-making advisory committee. And vice director Huang Qingyun, members Yu Lizhong, He Jifeng, Wang Qi, Zhou Zhewei, Yu Guosheng, Qi Shi, Chen Jianke also attended the meeting. Zhou Xingzeng, chairman of the school, President Zhu Ruiting, Party Secretary Jiang Yanqiao, secretary of the board Wang Bangyong participated the meeting.
At the meeting, President Zhu introduced the development of the school over the past year. Mr Huang introduced the relevant situation and the latest spirit of private education reform in detail. Mr. Zhou briefed on the classified problems and thanked the first decision-making advisory committee for our school's reform and development in the past six years. We were informed that the school had many better results in enrollment，employment of graduates, municipal teaching achievement awards and passing ISO quality system certification. Therefore the committee fully affirmed the work of the school.
The committee believes that the foundation of the existence of private universities are quality and characteristics. Since being elected as committee in October 2012,members have witnessed SJQU education is more standardized, the quality is continuously improved, and the characteristics are constantly strengthened. Shanghai Jian Qiao University has gradually become the leader of private universities in Shanghai and even in China, laying a solid foundation for future development. The committee believes that nomatter what choices are made, the school will be better and better as long as the two key points of quality and characteristics are firmly grasped.
The committee members also submit detailed opinions on school reform and development in professional construction, team building, international cooperation and exchange, quality system construction and so on. Committee director Zheng Huiqiang, on behalf of all members has been expressed gratitude for the trust of school board. Mr Zheng said that through six years of performance, members have established a deep relationship with SJQU since the committee members have a deeper understanding of SJQU construction and are very delighted with the achievements of SJQU. Mr Zheng said although this performance is over, members will continue to care for and support the development of the school in various ways.
