The 2018 world famous fencing elite competition of world-famous university ,sponsored by the China Association of University Sports, was held in Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance from August 19 to 22. Liu kaijun, a student majoring in air service in vocational college of Shanghai Jian Qiao University was selected to join the Chinese university fencing team. In addition, PE teacher Yue Zhiqiang was selected to be the coach of this Chinese university fencing team.
Our school has played 4 consecutive competition and Liu kaijun was the winner of men's sabre individual at the 23rd national university fencing championships in 2017.Therefore he got the chance to represent Chinese university students in this competition. On August 22, the final of the world famous fencing elite team competition was held in Shanghai. In the end, Liu’s team obtained the excellent result.
The competition has attracted many high-level fencers of international universities who come from Tsinghua University, Peking University ，Sun Yat-Sen University，Princeton university, Stanford university, Columbia University, Daegu University, Daejeon University, Budapest University of technology and economic law, Brno university of technology, Masaryk University in Brno and University of West Bohemia and other universities.
