Professor Fei Xiaotong , Famous Sociologists

Fei Xiaotong or Fei Hsiao-Tung (November 2, 1910 – April 24, 2005), born in Jiangsu of Wujiang. Sociologists, anthropologists andethnologists, social activist, one of the founders of Chinese sociology and anthropology, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Seventh National People's Congress, eight, vice chairman of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference of the sixth national committee.
      Fei Xiaotong engaged in sociology, anthropology research, wrote the book of millions of words. Fei Xiaotong finished in under the direction of Malinowski entitled Gyaincain economy doctoral dissertation, the book became the European Institute of anthropology student reading reference books, Fei Xiaotong also received in 1981 the British Royal Institute of human anthropology awarded the highest award - Huxley award. He was known as one of the founders of Chinese sociology and anthropology.
