The Business School of SJQU has established cooperation with dozens of foreign schools, including the universities from the US, the UK, Germany, Denmark, Australia, etc. Existing international program includes short-term cooperation and long-term cooperation. Short-term cooperation with Aarhus University (Denmark) has been operating for four years. This is the first international cooperation of all private universities in Shanghai. More than 20 Danish students each year came to the Business School and constitute with about 20 Chinese students together an international class, which studies in English. The teacher came not only from Denmark, but also from the Business School. We still set up short-term joint class in cooperation with Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (Germany). Both Universities accredit the course grades, and 10 best Chinese students will be sent to complete their studies in Germany to achieve double degrees from the two Universities.
The Business School attaches great importance to international cooperation and send every year exchange students to Taiwan, the US and UK for a semester. At the same time, we actively provide overseas summer camp and overseas internship opportunities for students. As long-term cooperation project, we set up a 3+1 cooperation teaching program for aviation maintenance management with Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, the United States. This program obtained the official approval from the National Ministry of Education. This year we started the cooperation project with ICN Business School (France) in luxury management. The Business School will be able to provide a broader platform for international students in the future.
With a strong faculty team of 5 professors and 26 associate professors, the present enrollment of Business School has reached 4500. And the graduates of the School are highly valued and welcomed by the society. The employment rate of graduates has all been above 98% every year.
